Course Description:
Through incorporating conventional and rapid testing and the communication of test results into the six-step HIV prevention counseling protocol, the goal of this training reflects the purpose of HIV prevention counseling as currently described by CDC: To improve the ability of providers in a variety of settings to support individuals in making behavior changes that will reduce their risk of acquiring or transmitting HIV.

This course is the online portion of the current “Fundamentals of HIV Prevention Counseling” training that was last revised in 2009.  After completing this online portion, you will need to attend the classroom portion to compete the training.  Together, this online and live training will teach you how to conduct the six steps of HIV prevention counseling in the context of rapid and conventional testing and how to deliver test results.

Some concepts could be clarified better. More examples would help drive what details your want to participants to remember.
