The Bloodborn Pathogens Part 1: What You May Be Exposed To is intended to meet the annual blood borne pathogen training requirements as mandated by OSHA. This training is required for all employees who may be at risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens at the workplace and should take about an hour to complete per module.
This module was written by Tina Loy who is a registered nurse and a member of the BRDHD Communicable Diease Team. Tina has taught this coures face-to-face for several years and wrote the first module for use in 2006.
