Course Title:
BRDHD Bloodborne Pathogen Training for Schools Module 1014023

Course Description:
There is a fee for this course which has been paid for by the participating schools.  If you are an employee at the participating school you will be given a User Code to register.  If you have not be given a code check with your administration office or contact Ashley Elkin at Ashley.Lillard@barrenriverhealth.org  This course is designed to meet OSHA and ECP requirements for school employees.  The participant will need to complete a test at the end.  After passing the test with a minimum score of 75% you will need to return to your "My Learning" and complete an evaluation of the program.  When you finish the evaluation you will be able to print your certificate.

OBJECTIVES:

  • To recognize the hazards associated with occupational exposure to blood and body fluids
  • Gain knowledge in the prevention of exposure to blood and body fluids
  • Will be able to follow the steps required after and exposure to blood and body fluids

 

COMPLETING ON-LINE EVALUATION and RECEIVING CERTIFICATE

This should be no more than an every other year requirement. Additionally, YOU should provide the teachers with the questions that were missed. It is STUPID not to inform teachers of what questions were answered incorrectly when it might be life threatening!
